Primary Purpose

This position oversees the law department's technology portfolio, architectural roadmap, software vendors, and IT-managed services. It also partners with key stakeholders across Sempra's IT organization. The role plays a key part in advancing the law department's use of artificial intelligence by helping attorneys enable legal-specific use cases. It shapes strategic requirements for enterprise-level initiatives and advises on best practices for solution design. It also influences technology decisions that drive innovation and long-term business value.

• Transforms complex business strategies into comprehensive architecture requirements that span multiple platforms.
• Advises on establishing requirements management standards, methodologies, and best practices that enhance project delivery quality and consistency.
• Influences stakeholders on strategic technology investment decisions through compelling business cases and alignment with corporate objectives.
• Architects sophisticated solutions that seamlessly integrate multiple systems, business units, and external partners while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Drives continuous improvement of business analysis methodology and deliverables through implementation of industry innovations and lessons learned.
• Mitigates significant risks associated with complex system implementations through proactive identification, analysis, and development of effective contingency plans.
• Synthesizes industry trends, competitive analysis, and emerging technologies to inform long-term systems strategy and digital transformation initiatives.
