Our Midstream Oil and Gas client here in Houston, TX is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their team! This position will partner closely with end-users and IT stakeholders to understand business needs, gather and document requirements, and support solutions that enhance critical business applications. This role plays a key part in driving process improvements and ensuring systems effectively support core business functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial oil & gas applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
• Support and enhance commercial midstream applications (gas and/or liquids)
• Participate in Agile delivery (sprint ceremonies, backlog management, Jira tracking)
• Design and execute test plans to ensure system functionality meets business needs
• Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with vendors and IT for resolution
• Lead or support projects from requirements through implementation
• Maintain system documentation and compliance artifacts
• Provide user support, training, and participate in on-call rotation
