UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Aurora, CO, is seeking a full-time administrative analyst who will perform analysis across administrative, systems, financial, and operational projects within the Cell Therapy Administration department.

The role requires evaluating cost-saving opportunities, coordinating contracts for medical supplies, and presenting financial analyses to support informed decision-making. Onsite position with a competitive pay scale and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist to identify cost savings opportunities; review literature to aid evaluation, analysis and implementation of cost-effective products and physician preference items.
• Facilitate contracts for medical supplies or specialized items to determine hospital suitability; develop a project plan with timeline and resources.
• Gather data, lead negotiations with vendor reps, perform financial analysis, and prepare presentation materials.
• Analyze product utilization, pricing tiers, compatibility with equipment and practices, and assess safety issues related to regulatory requirements and product use.
• Identify opportunities to promote positive patient outcomes, cost reductions, and revenue enhancement.
• Operate with critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

• Pay:$31.61 - $47.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary

Performs analysis for assigned administrative, systems, financial, and operational projects.

Responsibilities

• Assists to identify cost savings opportunities; reviews and assesses literature to assist in the evaluation, analysis and implementation of cost-effective products, devices, and physician preference items.
• Facilitates contracts for medical supplies, physician preference items or specialized commodities to determine appropriateness for hospital use. Develops a project plan with timeline and resources.
• Gathers data, leads negotiations with vendor representatives, completes financial analysis, and prepares presentation materials. Analyzes product utilization, pricing tiers, compatibility with existing equipment and operational practices, and evaluates safety issues related to regulatory requirements and product use.
• Identifies opportunities to promote positive patient outcomes, cost reductions, and revenue enhancement.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
