A leading financial institution is looking for a Business Risk Process Analyst in Charlotte. This remote role will support the First Line Monitoring Program, executing risk tests and driving a risk-aware culture across the organization. Candidates should have a strong background in control testing or commercial lending, with responsibilities including procedure creation and compliance oversight.
This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): Phoenix, Charlotte, Raleigh, and Denver.
SVB is looking to hire a Business Risk Process Analyst supporting the SVB Commercial Bank. This position is an individual contributor and will report directly to the Director, Business Risk Process Management within the Loan Administration organization, with a dotted line to the Business Risk & Control Office.
This position will be responsible for developing and executing first-line risk programs. It will primarily support testing related to the newly established First Line Monitoring Program, which supports commercial credit and loan closing processes across SVB Commercial Bank. The role requires collaboration with both first-line risk programs and business leadership to complete testing on high-risk processes and identify potential improvements. Promoting an environment of risk awareness and ownership across the Bank while adhering to the Company’s Risk Appetite and Corporate Strategy is essential.
This role is key in facilitating and driving risk ownership within SVB Commercial Bank. The ideal candidate will foster awareness, accountability, and a risk-aware culture throughout the organization, providing expertise to enhance risk ownership in business processes.
The candidate will support the evolution of the risk framework, connecting related teams and workflows to achieve success.

For Denver, the base pay ranges from $76,670 to $90,200 annually, depending on experience. Actual starting pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other factors. Total compensation may include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and other awards as outlined in the employment offer.
