Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: AL, AR, CT, DE, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, NC, NE, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, UT, VA, VT, WV

This position supports corporate function processes in the Strategy Organization. The candidate should be comfortable analyzing complex processes, organizing data for analysis, and working on evolving activities. Experience with data management in Excel, SQL, creating critical spreadsheets, and analysis using weighted averages is essential. Interest in strategic risk, mergers, enterprise-wide risk programs, and strategic planning is also important.

As a first line of defense risk professional, this role involves managing Business Unit (BU) risk activities in line with the Company's Risk Appetite and Strategy. Responsibilities include supporting risk management, controls, compliance, and communication with regulators.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain understanding of the organization's business environment, including industry trends, products, and services. Analyze business drivers to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support the execution of risk policies and standards, assist in identifying and addressing risks and control gaps, and track issue resolution.
• Assist with regulatory and internal audit inquiries, examinations, and reports.
• Develop BU risk reports, monitor risk performance, and support governance meetings with insights and updates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience in Financial Services or related fields, or High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience.

• Interest and experience in strategic risk at large financial institutions
• Proficiency with Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and analysis using weighted averages
• Attention to detail, flexibility, and excellence in execution

• Advanced Degree in Finance or Risk Management
• Project Management or consulting experience
• Certifications such as CRCM, PMP, CERP, CAMS, CISA, CRISC
