Job summary

CAC I International Inc. seeks a Senior Business Requirements Analyst to join the Endpoint Engineering team on a DHS contract.

The role focuses on translating business needs into technical requirements, working closely with Architects, Project Managers, and Engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions. The ideal candidate has extensive BA experience, strong communication, and proficiency in agile methods and mobility engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum DHS Entry On Duty eligibility.
• Previous experience as a Business Analyst (BA).
• Experience with Mac and/or mobility engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and sponsors to define project scope and vision.
• Identify stakeholders and user classes; document characteristics.
• Conduct interviews and workshops to gather requirements.
• Define scope, impact, outcomes, and metrics for requirements analysis.
• Prioritize requirements with stakeholders and project team.
• Evaluate and improve requirements processes and templates.
• Research software/hardware options to meet requirements and support purchasing.
• Verify requirements for completeness, consistency, and feasibility.
• Create process models, diagrams, and specifications for developers.
• Track requirements throughout the project lifecycle and adapt as needed.
• Support Mac/mobility engineering tasks and troubleshooting as needed.

This role will report to the PMO Business Analyst Manager and work closely with a team of Architects, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Engineers. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working on infrastructure and endpoint engineering projects, helping customers translate business needs and value into technical project requirements.Responsibilities:• Collaborate with project managers and project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.• Clearly identify project stakeholders and establish user classes, as well as their characteristics.• Conduct interviews to gather user requirements through workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.• Identify and establish the scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.• Work with stakeholders and the project team to prioritize collected requirements• Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.• Assist in conducting research on software and hardware products to meet agreed-upon requirements and to support purchasing efforts.• Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.• Develop and utilize standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications.• Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.• Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.• Assist, when needed, with executing Mac and/or mobility engineering tasks and troubleshooting issuesQualifications:Required:• Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD)• B.A./B.S. or equivalent + 8 years of relevant experience• Previous experience as a BA• 2+ years of Mac and/or mobility engineering experience• Attention to detail and resourcefulness• Experience using Kanban boards and agile methodologies• Expert of Scrum methodologies• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)• Strong Microsoft Office experience, predominantly Excel, Visio and PowerPointDesired:• Previous DHS or DoD experience• Experience with ServiceNow Agile 2.0 and SPM• Any of the following certifications is highly desired:- Certified Scrum Master- ITIL Foundation- Other IT technical certifications- PMP-What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
