As a Business Relationship Manager I (BRM) in Business Banking, you'll help improve the lives of clients and their businesses through financial solutions, education, and advice. You will manage a portfolio of new and existing business clients by building relationships and providing financial advice, focusing on client experience and risk management.

Job Responsibilities
  • Acquire, manage, and retain a portfolio of 100-130 business clients with annual revenue of $1 - $5 million for your assigned branches; provide business deposit and cash management solutions and manage business credit opportunities up to approximately $500,000.
  • Deliver an outstanding experience to Chase business clients by providing comprehensive and customized business banking solutions tailored to their financial needs and circumstances.
  • Use knowledge of business, finance, banking, credit, and risk management to identify, recommend, and promote solutions that serve the client and ensure portfolio profitability.
  • Conduct in-person calls with prospects, COIs, and existing clients at their businesses. Follow a disciplined relationship development process, reviewing strategies with managers and making adjustments as needed.
  • Identify and pursue potential new business clients to cultivate long-term, primary banking relationships.
  • Identify personal financial goals and needs of clients; collaborate with partners across lines of business to connect clients with specialists.
  • Support your branches actively, follow sound risk management protocols, and adhere to regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience.
  • Knowledge of business credit, core business products, and practices, understanding of industry-specific needs.
  • Strong communication skills to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to balance client needs with risks, recognize issues, and determine when to escalate or handle independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong current business network.
