Responsible for budget and expense control for projects. Accountable for timely project completion and delivery. analyzes work plans and makes recommendations for improved processes. prepares financial analyses to support and assess project/program financial impact. develops project progress and status reports. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related experience. 2-4 years related experience.
Supporting an expansion program, working with many teams including field ops, construction, finance, and operationalizing that program. Supporting large customers that have phased roll‑outs for implementation. They are not using a specific structure for project management style; they need a positive attitude on getting the various teams involved and on the same page while using the tools they have.
What We Are Looking For
- Analytical approach – quantitative skill set needed. Very data‑heavy organization so, for example, doing simple payback on cost vs revenue is needed.
- SQL experience – data is housed in SQL; ability to access, read, and edit stored data will be very helpful.
- Positive attitude and willingness to dive in on their own and solve problems.
- Pick‑up high‑level questions and lean on internal FTE for support is needed.
- Exposure to telecom – construction environment – field based, or telecom industry‑based experience is very helpful to start out.
- In the interest in creating visibility and being able to talk through our leadership chain of command effectively is important.
Experience
- 2-4 years of project management. More fluid and less structured environment than PMP.
- Analytical backgrounds are desirable, rather than specific education requirements.
- The group is very collaborative. Confidence in sharing opinions to provide solutions for the problems that require resolutions.
- Must be able to collectively find the best solutions. Need to be comfortable with having some debates on the best tactical & fiscal approach for each project.
- Telecom background is a PLUS.
- Project Manager Professional (PMP) and Six Sigma not required but preferred.
