Job summary

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Principal Consultant at the Atlanta, GA location to translate client vision into SAP-based solutions.

The role focuses on mapping processes to requirements, driving transformation toward the Intelligent Enterprise, and delivering customer workshops and trainings. You will support pre-sales, enterprise-scale implementation, and system design across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments, with opportunities to mentor colleagues and advance SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a relevant field; 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent with 5 years of related experience.
• Experience must include SAP EHS, SAP Sustainability, SAP PLM, and S4HANA/ECC Development.

Responsibilities

• Translate the customer's vision into SAP-based solutions and drive business transformation.
• Map business processes to solution requirements and support end-to-end design and configuration.
• Lead customer workshops and trainings; support pre-sales activities and feasibility studies.

Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Principal Consultant (multiple positions available) at our Atlanta, GA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions.

Expectations and Tasks:

Maps business processes to solution requirements. Helps position disruptive business innovation. Supports the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Drives change management to achieve business transformation objectives. Supports end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards. Participates in transition planning of customer solution landscapes. Drives deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs or industries. Supports pre-sales activities. Performs solution reviews and feasibility studies. Supports escalated projects. Occasionally takes over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery. Supports line manager(s) in people development tasks. Delivers customer workshops and trainings. Supports in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. Introduces SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content and experience. Creates project documentation and documentation of delivered services. Supports the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or supports updates to the portfolio. Supports in solution testing and issue resolution. Can mentor business process consultants.

Qualifications

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must include five (5) years involving each of the following:

• SAP EHS (Product Compliance & Worker Safety);
• SAP Sustainability;
• SAP PLM;
• Program management; and
• S4HANA/ECC Technical Development.

Travel: Position does require up to 30% domestic and international travel to various and unanticipated SAP offices and customer sites to attend business meetings.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $140,483 - $206,640. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $151,900 - $258,300. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
