Job summary

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Consultant at Newtown Square, PA to translate the customer’s vision into scalable SAP finance and Controlling solutions, aligning finance operations with the Intelligent Enterprise strategy.

You will map processes, support design across on‑premise, cloud and hybrid deployments, lead workshops, and assist pre‑sales, solution reviews, and transition planning for SAP LoBs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, CS, or related field.
• Five years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Purpose and Objective

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer’s vision into solutions.

Expectations and Tasks

• Map finance and controlling business processes to solution requirements.
• Help position disruptive business innovation.
• Support the transformation toward the Intelligent Enterprise.
• Support solution design and configuration across multiple solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards.
• Participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes.
• Drive deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs or industries.
• Support pre‑sales activities.
• Support and deliver solution reviews and feasibility studies.
• Support escalated projects.
• Support partner‑led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success.
• Deliver customer workshops.
• Introduce SAP and industry‑leading practices based on pre‑existing templates and content.
• Deliver solution training to customer project members.
• Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services.
• Show comprehensive understanding of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas under finance and controlling; deliver according to specification and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Support solution testing and issue resolution.

Education and Occupational Experience

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration (concentration in Financial Management), Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration (concentration in Financial Management), Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications / Skills and Competencies Experience

• Three (3) years involving the technical and functional application of SAP Finance modules.
• Three (3) years involving the technical and functional application of SAP Controlling Modules.
• Three (3) years involving Implementation of SAP Finance functionality.
• Three (3) years involving SAP Finance functionality application support.
• Three (3) years involving Business Process performance optimization.
• Three (3) years involving Analysis of SAP Finance core business processes and related interfaces.
• Three (3) years involving Working on both Cloud and on‑prem solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,923-143,910. The targeted combined range for this position is $125,923-159,900. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
