Job description

Jack Henry & Associates, a leading provider of technology solutions and payment processing services primarily for the financial services industry, is hiring a Business Process Improvement Analyst to join our Finance-Accounts Receivable team. This role will serve as a seasoned Business Analyst primarily focused on driving process standardization and automation to improve or eliminate manual processes. The goal is to deliver consistent outputs that can be easily integrated into reporting solutions and analytical products, providing actionable insights across the enterprise for business and support areas. The ideal candidate will research and implement new standards and best practices in descriptive analytics while developing and optimizing strategies to meet team goals. This role involves high levels of communication with Operations, Finance, Accounting, and other leadership.


This position can be based in our offices in Springfield, MO., Allen, TX., Lenexa, KS., or remotely after training completion.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data analytics and process improvement.
  • Experience using Excel with Macros, VBA, Power Pivot, or similar tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for meetings at various Jack Henry locations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Business, Economics, or Accounting.
  • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, SharePoint, PowerApps, MSFlow.

Essential Functions
  • Research, analyze, create, and maintain Policies & Procedures.
  • Manage department processes to ensure compliance and meet deadlines.
  • Define, document, and publish processes; identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Support collection and interpretation of business information.
  • Diagram and evaluate existing processes.
  • Collect data to identify root causes of problems.
  • Develop metrics for process measurement and improvement.
  • Measure performance and align improvements accordingly.
  • Perform Impact Analysis and present recommendations to management.
  • Adjust business variables to improve KPI effectiveness.
  • Analyze trends and potential outcomes of changes.
  • Participate in post-project reviews and refine processes as needed.
  • Provide consultation on re-engineering techniques; deliver presentations and training.
  • Analyze high volumes of data from multiple sources.
  • Track market trends.
  • Perform Cost-Benefit analyses and similar assessments.
