Job summary

Lonza Group in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, is seeking a Business Process Architect to shape and optimize Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes as part of the SAP S/4HANA transformation.

You will partner with business leaders and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions, lead process mapping, support testing and data migration, and drive continuous improvement across procurement and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in a related field such as Supply Chain, IT, or Business.
• Experience with Procure-to-Pay processes and SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills with ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into scalable process solutions.
• Analyze and redesign Procurement, Supply Chain, Invoicing, and Payment processes.
• Lead process mapping and design activities within SAP S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with stream teams and system integrators to validate solutions.
• Support testing, data migration, training, and change management throughout the project.
• Create and maintain process documentation, standards, and training materials.
• Drive continuous improvement by optimizing processes, data quality, and system utilization.

What you will do

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into scalable process solutions

• Lead process mapping and process design activities within the SAP S/4HANA environment
• Collaborate with stream teams, systems integrators, and stakeholders to validate requirements and proposed solutions
• Support testing, data migration, training, and change management activities throughout the project lifecycle
• Create and maintain process documentation, standards, and training materials
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, data quality, and system utilization

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field required
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
• Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Invoicing, Payment processes, and related master data management
• Strong understanding of business process design, optimization, and transformation initiatives
• Experience working with SAP solutions, preferably SAP S/4HANA and Procurement-related modules
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead process improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams and drive organizational change
