Job summary

David Weekley Homes is seeking a Business Process Analyst who asks questions and seeks to understand how and why. This role partners with team members across the company to analyze and improve business processes using data-driven insights.

You will document processes, map as-is and to-be states, gather requirements, and lead cross-functional discussions to identify opportunities for standardization and optimization. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in business process analysis or process improvement (Lean Six Sigma or similar).
• Project management skills to define steps and manage multiple projects.
• Willingness to adopt new technology to support development of business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Team Members across the company to learn requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Document business processes - process mapping, business rules, training materials, and other documentation as needed; maintain as required.
• Lead teams through process meetings and document as-is and would-be processes.
• Understand city-specific requirements that require modifications to a company-wide process.
• Determine the appropriate data needed for research and extract that data from business systems.
• Data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and indicators of upcoming events.
• Gather consensus on recommendations and follow up as needed.
• Prepare and present findings and recommendations from research to Management.
• Work with Application Development Team to ensure that business systems support processes.
• Collaborate with Trainers to ensure processes are communicated to all team members.
• Project Management - action plan, communication plan, meeting planning, follow-up and other responsibilities.
• Bring groups of Team Members to share information and best practices.
• Collaborate to determine opportunities for standardization.
• Facilitate discussions virtually with Team Members across the company.
• Travel 30-50% depending on projects.
