Job summary

Duties include conducting stakeholder interviews, mapping current and future states, applying Lean Six Sigma methods, and developing data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency, standardization, and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience as a business analyst.
• Preference given to government, healthcare, finance, or regulated service sectors.
• MBA or MHA preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience supporting strategic initiatives or enterprise‑level improvement efforts.
• Lean Six Sigma, project management, or related training/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business process analysis through stakeholder interviews, workflow reviews, and data analysis.
• Develop and maintain current-state and future-state process maps and documentation.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and quality improvement methodologies to identify gaps and root causes.
• Develop data-informed recommendations to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and standardization.
• Develop and revise SOPs, process docs, business requirements, and reports.
• Facilitate process improvement sessions with stakeholders.
• Develop process measures and performance indicators to evaluate improvements.
• Support implementation, change management, and sustainment activities.

We require a Business Process Analyst for our cleint (State of OK) to work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.

This not a Business Analyst position. It involves business processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs), Conducting gap analysis and root cause analysis.

Role Title: Business Process Analyst

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct business process analysis through stakeholder interviews, workflow reviews, data analysis, and other appropriate assessment methods.
• Develop and maintain current-state and future-state process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and quality improvement methodologies to identify process gaps, bottlenecks, redundancies, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop practical, data-informed recommendations to improve process efficiency, effectiveness, standardization, and sustainability.
• Develop and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, business requirements, reports, executive summaries, and other written materials.
• Facilitate or support process improvement sessions with program staff, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
• Develop appropriate process measures and performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
• Support implementation, change management, and sustainment activities associated with approved process improvements.
• Provide regular progress updates and maintain documentation of assigned projects, deliverables, risks, issues, and recommendations.
• Complete assigned deliverables within established timelines and incorporate OSDH feedback into final work products.
• Completes other duties, as assigned.

Mandatory & Preference requirements include:

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a business analyst. Preference given to experience in state government, healthcare, finance, regulatory or similar service-related business.
• Preferred master's degree in MBA or MHA.
• Professional experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, performance management, or a related field.
• Experience supporting strategic initiatives, organizational transformation, or enterprise-level improvement efforts.
• Experience working in government, public health, finance, or another regulated environment is preferred.
• Experience developing executive-level reports, dashboards, process maps, SOPs, or implementation documentation.
• Lean Six Sigma, project management, change management, business analysis, or related professional training or certification is preferred.
