Business Planning Manager

As part of the Home Appliance Planning Team, the Business Planning Manager will support and coordinate financial and KPI planning, performance management, and measurement. The role involves collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Sales, Product Management, and Business Managers in headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and implementation of business visions, strategies, and long‑term priorities.
• Manage the department's financial success by meeting sales, profit, and growth goals, analyzing historical data and current trends, and providing strategic recommendations to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Develop annual financial and KPI plans for sales individuals in conjunction with top‑down direction and bottom‑up proposals.
• Accurately, objectively, and constructively evaluate the performance of sales individuals through KPI development and measurement processes.
• Organize data for monthly KPI metric reports, ad‑hoc analyses, and communicate findings to impacted teams and leadership.
• Participate in process improvement activities and other special projects.
• Own and maintain the sales database.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing project performance data and making recommendations for process enhancements.

Education / Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Planning or a related field.
• Eight years of professional experience in fast‑paced planning, project management, or similar roles.
• Experience creating business plans, analyses, and strategic plans.
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with business representatives.
• Ability to extract large amounts of data (database mining skills) and summarize it into actionable trend information.
• Must synthesize information into actionable recommendations and analyses.
• Exceptional skill set in Excel and Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with OLAP or other database management is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Korean); must be able to read and write Korean.

Recruiting Range

$120,000—$127,000 USD
