Responsibilities

• Partner across Transmission, Distribution, HR, Finance, and other corporate organizations to gather, validate, and synthesize critical business information.
• Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities and translate findings into concise executive-level insights and recommendations.
• Support executive decision-making through development of clear, actionable reporting and analytics.
• Serve as a primary author and coordinator for monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc presentations delivered by the President of AEP Transmission.
• Develop Board-level materials, executive briefings, conference presentations, strategic updates, and other high-profile communications.
• Convert large volumes of complex technical, operational, financial, and strategic information into compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and executive-level quality across materials presented to stakeholders.
• Assist in ongoing development of non-financial components of the Transmission Annual Plan.
• Collaborate with the SVP Finance of Transmission and senior leadership to align priorities and metrics.
• Assist in evaluating strategic initiatives and transformation opportunities.
• Drive special projects and executive requests to support long-term success.

Job Summary

What We're Looking For

Manager, Transmission Finance (Salary Grade 10)

Education

Bobachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.

Required Experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred

• Experience supporting C-suite or senior executive leaders within a large organization.
• Background in Investor Relations, Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting, Mergers & Acquisitions, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Executive Communications, or Technical Writing.
• Experience developing Board of Director materials, executive presentations, or strategic communications.
• Advanced PowerPoint storytelling and executive presentation development skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-performance environments with significant executive visibility.
