Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Business Performance Analyst to analyze data in the Quality Outcomes Department. The role is full-time with a 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday, in Ft. Worth, TX, and includes one remote day per week.

You will extract and analyze data, develop models, and create dashboards to support business decisions. Strong analytics skills and data visualization experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in math, economics, finance, engineering, or related field.
• Two years of analytics work with Bachelor's; or zero years with Master's.
• Experience with data visualization tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and join data from multiple sources for analysis.
• Develop analytical models to assess financial and clinical value of initiatives.
• Lead dashboard development, data definitions, and documentation processes.
• Produce ad hoc and recurring reports with data-based insights.
• Present findings to work groups using data visualization tools.
• Build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders for effective solutions.

Here’s What You Need

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field Required, And
  • Master's degree Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field Preferred.
• Experience:
  • Two (2) years with Bachelor's degree, 2 years related analytical experience in Healthcare, Consulting, Finance, Analytics or a closely related field Required
  • or
  • With Master's degree, 0 years related analytical experience in Healthcare, Consulting, Finance, Analytics or a closely related field Required.
• Working knowledge of data visualization tools and experience creating data visualizations Required
• Quality Skills:
  • Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, or equivalent visualization software.
  • SQL or non-SQL tools to query, join tables, and create tables.
  • Financial modeling, pro formas (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with other analytics teams, business leaders, and executives.

What You Will Do

• Extract, manipulate, and join data from multiple sources into a population set for comparative analysis.
• Develop and maintain analytical models to determine financial, clinical, and consumer value of a wide range of business initiatives.
• Responsible for and/or participates in dashboard development process, including creating data definitions, validating data, retrieving data from systems, maintaining technical documentation, and dashboard creation.
• Produce ad hoc reports, recurring reporting needs, and presentations that provide data-based insights for solutions to business questions.
• Give presentations to work groups on findings using data visualization tools.
• Develop relationships among partners and customers and manage those relationships to assure effective solutions.
