Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is offering an internship to support the MA core team with daily duties in managing the Business Partner servicing team and internal call center operations through reporting, data analysis, and project coordination.

You will gain hands-on experience in business operations, learn professional relationship building, and develop analytical and communication skills while engaging in cross-functional projects and site visits.

Qualifications

Current undergraduate or graduate student with a 3.0 GPA or higher required.
Interns must be enrolled in a college/university or a Master’s/PhD program for the duration of the internship.
Effective verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Pull and analyze daily reports and performance metrics.
Develop presentations and educational materials based on call center needs.
Support planning and execution of Business Partner meetings and site visits, as well as internal meetings and events.
Complete ad-hoc requests from the teams we support and Vendor Relationship manager.
Assist the internal call center operations as needed.
Provide backup support for the Project Consultant.
Collaborate with other lines of business and VBPO interns on cross-functional projects.
