  • Structured thinking and the ability to distill complexity into clear communication for senior executives and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate across business development, strategy, operations, planning, and customer success — owning the company's highest-priority problems and driving them to completion.
  • Build GTM models for new verticals, stand up onboarding playbooks, and run point on strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Identify, research, and prioritize target accounts across distribution verticals.
  • Support the President and CEO in executive outreach and C-suite meetings — prep briefs, follow-ups, and deal strategy.
  • Map buying committees at complex enterprise accounts and shape the path from first conversation to signed contract.

  • Build the analyses leadership relies on: market sizing, competitive intelligence, unit economics, and ROI models.
  • Design and improve the processes and tooling that keep GTM and delivery running as we scale.
  • Establish the operating cadence — dashboards, KPIs, and reporting — that gives leadership visibility into pipeline and growth.
  • Help run the quarterly and annual planning cycle: objectives, resource allocation, and prioritization across teams.
  • Onboard and activate enterprise distributor customers, turning signed deals into durable, expanding accounts.
  • Build the playbooks and health metrics that let customer outcomes scale beyond founder-led delivery.
  • Carry the voice of the customer back into product and strategy.

Job description

The world's biggest industries are broken. Let's fix it

We are a team of engineers, product designers, and customer champions applying the most transformative technology of our time — AI — to two of the world's largest and most overlooked industries: freight and B2B distribution.

Our mission is to automate the manual, repetitive work that holds operations teams back and free them to focus on what actually moves the needle.

We're looking for driven, curious people who thrive in fast-moving environments and want to make a real dent in the world. If you're excited about AI that can reason and act like a human, in some of the most complex industries on earth — come grow with us.

What You'll Do:
  • Rotate across business development, strategy, operations, planning, and customer success — owning the company's highest-priority problems and driving them to completion.

  • Build GTM models for new verticals, stand up onboarding playbooks, and run point on strategic enterprise accounts.

  • Identify, research, and prioritize target accounts across distribution verticals.

  • Support the President and CEO in executive outreach and C-suite meetings — prep briefs, follow-ups, and deal strategy.

  • Map buying committees at complex enterprise accounts and shape the path from first conversation to signed contract.

  • Frame and pressure-test the company's biggest decisions — new verticals, pricing, partnerships, build-vs-buy — with structured analysis and clear recommendations.

What We're Looking For:
  • 4+ years in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or strategy/operations at a high-growth startup.

  • A get-things-done mentality — you can dissect complex, ambiguous problems and drive them to completion with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Exceptional analytical ability, drawing insight from quantitative and qualitative data; comfort building models and working in spreadsheets (SQL a plus).

  • Structured thinking and the ability to distill complexity into clear, persuasive communication for any audience, including senior executives and external customers.

  • A team-first, low-ego operating style and the ability to influence across every function without formal authority.

  • Genuine curiosity about AI, distribution, and logistics — and the drive to become an expert in a technical product and a traditional industry quickly.

  • Willingness to work hybrid from our New York office and travel as needed to be where the business and customers are.

About Augment

At Augment, we set out to create a fully autonomous AI platform that streamlines operations and reclaims the human element in logistics. Our founders recognized a pattern: talented professionals were stuck handling manual data entry, phone calls, and repetitive tasks, instead of focusing on high-impact problem-solving and strategic decision-making.

That insight became our mission—to free logistics professionals from busywork so they can focus on what truly drives business growth. Augment isn’t just about efficiency; it’s about transforming an entire industry by empowering teams with AI-driven solutions that make logistics smarter, faster, and more adaptive.

Join us on this journey!

Augment is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity at our company. We consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status.

We also consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with applicable federal, state and local fair-chance / ban-the-box laws (for example, but not limited to, the California Fair Chance Act).

Our hiring process uses AI-powered tools to assist with screening and evaluating applications based on job-related criteria. All AI-assisted outputs are reviewed by human recruiters who make all decisions about which candidates advance in the process.
