Job summary

Evertec in Puerto Rico invites you to join as a Business Operations Specialist. You will collect, consolidate, and analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for strategic decisions.

You will prepare periodic reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, collaborate across departments to optimize processes, monitor initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics or related field.
• Minimum of three years of progressive experience in Business Operations, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Business Analysis, Process Improvement, or related areas.
• Experience working with data analysis, operational metrics, and executive reporting.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and managing strategic initiatives.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization.
• Experience using data analysis and visualization tools.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to optimize processes, reduce inefficiencies, and improve productivity through best practices and operational improvement methodologies.
• Coordinate activities, monitor work plans, and track key initiatives to ensure the timely achievement of objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with operational, financial, technology, and business teams to align priorities and facilitate the implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Evaluate initiative performance, budgets, resource utilization, and operational results to maximize organizational value.
• Monitor adherence to organizational procedures, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements while promoting operational excellence.

In addition, you can make a difference if you meet:

• Minimum of Three (3) years of progressive experience in Business Operations, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Business Analysis, Process Improvement, or related areas
• Experience working with data analysis, operational metrics, and executive reporting

Work hours

• Standard business hours (Monday to Friday). Available to work extended hours, weekends, and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required to support business needs.
