The ADCRR seeks a senior-level Business Operations specialist to assist in allocating and monitoring the agency’s $1.6 billion annual budget. Responsibilities include monitoring financial activity, advising agency leadership on budget status, ensuring compliance with legislative intent, processing financial transactions, and resolving financial issues.

Job Duties:
  1. Process, review, and approve/reject transactions in the Arizona Procurement Portal (APP) and AZ360 FIN.
  2. Act as Budget Liaison and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for financial and procurement issues.
  3. Establish and implement procedures and best practices.
  4. Develop and improve financial reports for management.
  5. Analyze costs and allocations across divisions.
  6. Review and advise divisions on resource allocation and funding.
  7. Attend training and meetings.
  8. Advise leadership on financial status and activities.
  9. Perform other related duties.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of: Accounting principles, budget preparation, procurement statutes, management practices, laws, and software applications.

Skills in: Problem-solving, communication, public speaking, budgeting.

Ability to: Work impartially, prioritize, communicate effectively, learn systems, work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.

- At least 10 years of governmental accounting and budgeting experience.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Background check, valid driver’s license, TB test, and E-Verify compliance are required.
