Job summary

Framatome seeks an Early Career I&C Engineer in Lynchburg, VA to contribute to R&D for new and updated products. You will design circuits and write embedded code, analyze systems, and conduct testing to support device development.

You will create test and analysis reports, support product lifecycle maintenance, and travel up to 25% to collaborate with teams. This role focuses on clean energy and advanced nuclear technology in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Applied Physics, or related engineering degree.
• Strong technical problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques, and criteria
• Basic communication skills including the ability to comprehend, follow directions, and convey detailed technical data
• Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships & work collaboratively in a team environment
• Good problem identification and resolutions skills
• Exhibit questioning attitude and practices self-checking
• Basic level of Microsoft Office
• Exposure to CAD modeling and computer programming skills
• Engineering organizations may have additional qualification requirements with established criterion to demonstrate success, including such items as required training courses and/or task specific qualification cards

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $65,000 - $84,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
