Mercor is seeking a Business Operations & Compliance Expert to drive governance for frontier AI projects. This remote contract role focuses on creating training data, building compliance scenarios, and translating regulatory requirements into practical checklists.

You’ll align operations with internal policies and collaborate on a UK business-hours rhythm with a live team, while working independently to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business operations, internal controls, advertising or marketing operations, risk, or compliance program management.
• Ability to explain requirements in plain language.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom with the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Position: Business Operations & Compliance Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $150/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 10 August 2026 to 4 September 2026

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 5+ years in business operations, internal controls, advertising or marketing operations, risk, or compliance program management.
• Ability to explain requirements in plain language.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom and have the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Preferred

• Experience in media, publishing, advertising agencies, live events, or consumer subscription businesses.
• Familiarity with compliance training design, RACI definition, and monthly operating review calendars.
