Job description

We’re looking for aBusiness Operations & Automation Lead— a hands-on operator who’s passionate about making work smarter, faster, and more scalable. In this role, you’ll partner closely with ourmerchandising teamto map workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements and automations. You’ll beembedded in merchandising as your first mission, but your impact will extend across the business over time. This isnot a people management role — it’s for a doer who thrives on solving problems, delivering tangible outcomes, and staying at the cutting edge of tools and technology. If you’re excited about designing better ways of working, embedding in teams to make a real difference, and leveraging the best new tools to automate the boring stuff — we want to hear from you.

Location: This role is based out of our HQ in Beverly Hills, CA where we are operating from a hybrid model of 4 days a week in-office. This role is not eligible for remote.

What You’ll Do

  • Map, analyze, and redesign core merchandising processes, eliminating friction and manual work.
  • Identify and deliverquick wins and longer-term automation projects, using AI, no-code/low-code tools, and scripts.
  • Build lightweight automations (e.g., using Google Apps Scripts, Zapier, Make, Airtable, Notion, or similar).
  • Evaluate and recommend tooling to support merchandising operations (e.g., assortment planning, PLM, vendor management tools).
  • Create clear documentation, dashboards, and workflows to support sustainable improvements.
  • Champion operational change by working directly with merchandising team members to help them adopt new tools and processes.
  • Stay constantly up-to-date on thelatest AI, automation, and productivity tools, and proactively bring ideas for how they can benefit the team.
About You
  • 4+ years of experiencein business operations, process improvement, or systems/automation-focused roles.
  • You love tobuild and implement solutions yourself— you are hands-on with tools, not someone who just writes the plan.
  • Technical aptitude— experience with no-code/low-code platforms, spreadsheets, databases, scripting (e.g., Google Apps Scripts, Airtable scripting), or lightweight systems integration.
  • Strongprocess mapping and redesign skills— comfortable untangling messy workflows and designing better ones.
  • Bonus:Experience or familiarity with merchandising, retail, or ecommerce processes (e.g., assortment planning, PLM, vendor management).
  • Obsessed withstaying on top of AI and automation trends— you’re the person who’s always testing the next great tool.
  • Strong communication and change management skills — you can work across functions, build trust, and help teams embrace new ways of working.
Why Join Us
  • Impact:You’ll play a critical role in transforming how our merchandising team operates — and help us build a smarter, more scalable business.
  • Autonomy:High trust, high ownership — you’ll have the space to execute and make change happen.
  • Growth:Opportunity to work across the business and shape how we adopt AI and automation at scale.
  • Culture:No bureaucracy, no empire-building — just meaningful work, collaboration, and results.

Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
