Job summary

Rainmaker is seeking a detail-oriented operations professional to help scale our cloud seeding initiatives and support cross-functional programs across engineering, science, production, and finance. You will help translate growth plans into actionable staffing, facilities, and process improvements.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in business operations or similar high-demand environments.
• Experience coordinating across engineering, finance, operations, and other teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with structured thinking and bias toward action.

Responsibilities

• Support company planning by tracking priorities, goals, headcount, budgets, milestones, and organizational capacity.
• Drive strategic initiatives that require coordination across engineering, science, production, field operations, commercial, finance, and people.
• Translate growth plans into operational requirements across staffing, facilities, systems, infrastructure, and production capacity.
• Build and improve company-wide processes, workflows, reporting systems, and information pathways.
• Produce clear, decision-ready analysis for leadership on performance, resources, risks, and tradeoffs.
• Support business reviews, quarterly planning, leadership meetings, and other elements of Rainmaker's operating cadence.
• Take ownership of high-priority special projects that do not yet have a permanent functional home.
• Demonstrate ownership, sound judgment, intellectual humility, and a strong bias toward action.
• Communicate clearly and drive accountability without relying on formal authority.

Rainmaker is pioneering a modern cloud seeding system to address water scarcity and inclement weather challenges worldwide. We develop and integrate radar validation, weather-resistant UAS, numerical weather modeling, and sustainable seeding agents into an effective precipitation enhancement solution.
