Your Adventure Begins Here

Via Logic is looking for a Business Operations and Talent Specialist to help grow our team of Explorers and support the people, programs, and day-to-day operations that keep our business moving forward. We're a growing government contracting company, and like many small businesses, our responsibilities don't always fit neatly into one department. One day, you might be sourcing candidates for a software engineering opportunity. The next, you could be helping coordinate employee onboarding, preparing customer invoices, researching a federal contracting opportunity, or organizing documentation for an upcoming proposal.

That's part of the adventure!

Your Mission
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
  • Support full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, candidate outreach, initial screenings, interview coordination, offers, and onboarding handoffs.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for software engineering, cloud, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, business operations, and other positions supporting federal government programs.
  • Conduct introductory conversations to assess candidates' relevant experience, interests, compensation expectations, availability, and alignment with position requirements.
  • Coordinate technical assessments, interviews, candidate follow-ups, and next steps with leadership, technical interviewers, and external partners.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records, recruiting pipelines, interview notes, and follow-up activities in Greenhouse.
  • Prepare candidate summaries, format resumes, and coordinate documentation for partner submissions and proposal staffing needs.
  • Help create a positive, personable candidate experience that reflects Via Logic's values and culture.
Business Operations & Program Support
  • Support daily business operations, administrative coordination, and follow-through on internal priorities.
  • Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, People Operations activities, and internal communications.
  • Help coordinate employee timekeeping, review submissions for completeness, and follow up on missing or outstanding information.
  • Support program delivery administration, including employee coordination, performance tracking, customer documentation, and operational reporting.
  • Maintain organized documents, trackers, schedules, and repeatable workflows that help our team work efficiently.
  • Provide in-person business and administrative support at our Arlington-area coworking space, including meeting preparation, team coordination, events, and other operational needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce repetitive work, and strengthen communication across the business.
Finance & Contracts Administration
  • Assist with preparing, organizing, and tracking customer invoices and supporting documentation.
  • Help coordinate expense reimbursements, vendor bills, payment records, and other routine financial administration.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow up on outstanding documentation or approvals.
  • Support contracts administration by organizing teaming agreements, nondisclosure agreements (NDAs), subcontractor documentation, and other business records.
  • Assist with tracking contract-related deadlines, outstanding action items, and required documentation.
  • Coordinate with leadership and external partners to help ensure financial and contractual information is organized, accurate, and accessible.
Business Development & Growth Support
  • Research federal contracting opportunities and summarize their scope, requirements, deadlines, and potential alignment with Via Logic's capabilities.
  • Review Requests for Information (RFIs), Sources Sought notices, and solicitations to identify response requirements and next steps.
  • Assist with drafting and coordinating RFI and Sources Sought responses, gathering input and supporting materials as needed.
  • Maintain opportunity trackers and follow up on deadlines, assigned tasks, and outstanding information.
  • Gather and organize company capabilities, past performance, resumes, and other materials for partner requests and proposal submissions.
  • Support proposal drafting, editing, formatting, and submission preparation, checking materials for accuracy and completeness.
  • Help coordinate communication and follow-through with internal stakeholders and external business partners.
Technology & Adaptability
  • Learn and use recruiting, finance, timekeeping, document management, and project tracking systems.
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully to support research, communication, organization, and process improvement while applying your own judgment.
  • Identify practical ways to improve workflows and reduce unnecessary administrative work.
  • Adapt to evolving business needs, shifting priorities, and opportunities to take on new responsibilities.

  • A people-focused culture where we recognize milestones, celebrate contributions, and support our Explorers throughout their journey.
How We Work

We're a small team with shared goals and responsibilities that sometimes cross functions. While you'll have recurring priorities, business needs may occasionally call for support in areas outside your usual day-to-day work. We value clear communication, ownership, curiosity, and early updates when something needs attention. You'll participate in regular team check-ins, keep your work visible, and help move priorities forward. We also recognize that no one knows everything. We appreciate people who are comfortable asking questions, learning from teammates, and taking initiative when something needs to get done. In-person collaboration is an important part of this role. You'll spend time at our Arlington-area coworking space, participate in leadership and team meetings, support company events, and help coordinate business activities that require an onsite presence. The frequency of these activities will vary, and flexibility to accommodate both planned and short-notice requests is essential. Above all, we’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, takes pride in helping others succeed, and wants to contribute to the continued growth of Via Logic.
