Job summary

Hudson River Trading is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to support the operational backbone of our Data Strategy team. The role oversees data access, vendor workflows, exchange reporting, and billing at scale, collaborating with internal teams and external counterparties.

With 3+ years in market data operations or related areas, you will drive end-to-end workflows, licensing updates, and audit readiness across global venues, while contributing to a culture of ownership and precision at HRT.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in market data operations, data vendor management, exchange licensing, financial operations, procurement operations, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of operational workflows across data vendors, exchanges, contracts, billing, and reporting.
  • High attention to detail, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive workflows.
  • Experience collaborating with legal, finance, compliance, engineering, data, and business teams.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems, regional licensing requirements, exchange workflows, or vendor ecosystems is a strong plus.

Job description

Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to help manage the operational backbone of our Data Strategy team.

This role supports the workflows that keep data access, vendor processes, exchange reporting, and billing running smoothly at scale. You will work across internal teams and external counterparties to keep processes accurate, timely, and well-controlled.

We are especially interested in candidates who have or can develop deep expertise in market data operations, vendor workflows, and regional or venue-specific requirements.

The estimated base salary range for this position is 120,000 to 160,000 USD per year (or local equivalent). The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role will also be eligible for discretionary performance-based bonuses and a competitive benefits package.
