Business Operations Analyst (Defensive Line)
The Business Operations Analyst (Defensive Line) will provide strategic analysis and mission‑critical project management at a regional leadership level. The role requires leadership in developing and implementing high‑impact projects across all departments, ensuring alignment of deliverables and allocation of resources, while building relationships across all levels and local geographies to monitor the cultural pulse of the region.
Job Description
Strategic Planning & Analysis
- Develop and improve KPI tracking and business metric dashboards.
- Evaluate resource utilization across business segments and provide recommendations for efficiency.
- Engage and secure leadership partnerships internally and externally.
- Provide in‑depth analyses of business goals, identifying factors that influence success.
- Develop scorecards, trackers, tools, and reports to help regional leadership assess performance.
- Coordinate critical, innovative projects with functional teams to address opportunity gaps and test strategic direction.
- Provide qualitative analytic support for projects requiring financial or data analysis.
- Support the General Manager in building and driving the regional talent plan.
Business Process Improvement
- Drive collaboration and support high performance at the regional leadership level.
- Collaborate with department leads to evaluate and optimize current processes, providing recommendations for improvement, automation, or new capabilities.
- Develop enhancements to regional projects and the annual business planning process to increase focus, efficiency, accountability, and empowerment across the region.
- Identify performance gaps and propose solutions to close them, improving efficiency and business impact.
Project Management
- Lead projects from development to implementation, including business case proposals, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, execution, and reporting results.
- Partner with project leaders to manage documentation, track milestones, schedules, and resource needs.
- Develop, enhance, and monitor project management methodologies to ensure streamlined processes and successful delivery.
- Build relationships across all levels and geographies to monitor cultural health and make recommendations based on those assessments.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years experience in an analytical and/or project management role (recent graduates considered).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (strongly preferred).
- Strong project management skills.
- Understanding of P&L, business drivers, and interactions.
- Analytic and business acumen reflected in successful project completion.
- Fast learner who quickly adapts and integrates new approaches.
- Understanding of business insights and category management principles.
- Proficient facilitation of meetings and communications.
- Highly collaborative, able to work with executives across multiple functions.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
