We are a skilled nursing facility seeking a Business Office Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can manage collections, business office administration, and has experience in long-term care.

Business Office Manager Requirements:

  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including Booster
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, HMOs, including appeals
  • Knowledge of verifying payor sources and deposits, MediCal TARS
  • Experience in collecting from managed Medi-Cal care organizations
  • Proficient in securing authorizations
  • Knowledge of state and federal nursing home guidelines, including trust fund management
  • Experience with Point Click Care software is preferred

Primary Business Office Manager Responsibilities:

  • Billing and collections for Managed Care and Managed Medi-cal, Insurance, co-insurance, hospice and private payers.
  • Assisting our residents to apply for benefits available to them
  • Ability to coordinate the various support services and personnel needed to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Processing Ancillary Accounts payable
  • Other duties may be assigned

PAY SCALE:

starting $35 / hour

Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
