Job Summary

The Business Office Manager is responsible for all business office tasks performed at the center level for the specific location. Duties may vary based on staffing levels but generally include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, resident trust management, payroll, documentation flow, and general administrative and Human Resources duties, such as daily cash deposits and mail distribution. The Business Office Manager ensures timely data entry into accounting systems, maintains accurate trust accounting records, census information, billing, resident accounts receivable, payroll, and invoice processing. They are primarily responsible for collecting private pay accounts receivable and assisting residents and families with Medicaid eligibility, if applicable. Additionally, they coordinate documentation flow with billing partners to facilitate timely billing and collections, while adhering to all center policies and procedures.

Required Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience combined with education)
  • Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Accounting proficiency
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
