Responsibilities

Provide operational support by managing various business office functions such as Human Resources, Medical Records, Credentialing, Admissions, Accounts Payable, Billing, Collections, Clinical Logs, and month-end reporting. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Coordinate the Business Office team for smooth operations
  2. Supervise non-medical personnel, including orientation, coaching, and evaluations
  3. Handle human resource procedures
  4. Act as a working manager and backup for team members
  5. Ensure timely and accurate administrative and accounting procedures
  6. Manage office supplies, equipment, and building maintenance contacts
  7. Liaise with billing companies and service providers, including contract negotiations
  8. Oversee payroll processing and reporting
  9. Collaborate with Clinical Director and Administrator to optimize operations and promote the Surgery Center
  10. Interpret and implement third-party payer contracts
  11. Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred; High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience acceptable
  • Minimum 5 years in a medically-related environment; surgery center experience is a plus
  • Experience supervising non-medical staff
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience with patient admissions, scheduling, and medical office operations preferred
  • Understanding of insurance processes, including verification
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Medical Billing Software; SharePoint and SurveyMonkey experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and phone etiquette skills

Salary Range: $48,300.00 - $70,000.00 per year
