Job description

Ignite Medical Resort Overland Park is in search of a Business Office Manager to join our team!

We are committed to providing kind, competent, and compassionate services to those entrusted to our care, as well as an enjoyable work environment for our staff. The Business Office Manager will report to the General Manager and is an integral part of the core management team.

Main responsibilities include:

  1. Participating in and contributing to the facility leadership meetings and processes.
  2. Following company policies and procedures to produce accurate revenue.
  3. Billing and follow-up to ensure timely collections from private payers.
  4. Ensuring adherence to all related federal and state rules and regulations.
  5. Managing critical deadlines with keen attention to detail.
  6. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, HMOs, and Hospice.
  7. Verifying payor sources.
  8. Working across departments to achieve positive outcomes.
  9. Knowledge of state and federal nursing home guidelines.
  10. Tracking facility census information and sending census reports daily.
  11. Completing admission contracts.
  12. Preparing and scanning deposits and entering data into Point Click Care.
  13. Completing census, payer builds, and payer verification in PCC.
  14. Reviewing resident accounts and aging reports regularly.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience as a Business Office Manager in a skilled nursing facility, with the ability to coordinate support services and personnel to ensure smooth office operations.
