Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall functions within the community business office
  • Maximize cash flow via efficient billing and collections
  • Support the Administrator with office duties
  • Handle accounts receivable, petty cash, resident funds, and cash receipts
  • Assist with resident move-ins and tours
  • Coordinate business office activities and submit claims accurately and timely, complying with all regulations
  • Monitor and collect accounts receivable and report delinquent accounts

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; AA in Business Administration preferred
  • 1-3 years bookkeeping and administrative experience
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures (petty cash, resident funds, payroll, payables, receivables)
  • Experience in nursing home business office functions preferred
  • Understanding of Long Term Care regulations and Medicaid/Medicare knowledge preferred
