Qualifications

an Assisted Living facility under the Eden Senior Care network, is hiring a Business Office Manager Assistant.

Position: Business Office Manager Assistant

This role supports the Business Office Manager and Administrator in daily administrative, billing, and financial operations. It ensures compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in resident billing, records, and communication with residents and families.

Key Responsibilities
Business Office Support:
  • Maintain resident and business office files
  • Support resident billing and respond to inquiries
  • Manage and update ancillary charge worksheet weekly
  • Assist with deposits and documentation
  • Issue delinquent notices and support collections
  • Process lease renewals and update contact/POA info
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and resident info
  • Reconcile petty cash transactions
Daily Administrative Tasks
  • Run and save PCC Action Summary reports
  • Update Rent Roll for admissions and rate changes
  • Enter and verify AR info in PCC
  • Upload Medicaid authorization documents
  • Check voicemails and document communication
  • Assist with deposits and trackers
Routine and Monthly Support Tasks
  • Review Aging Report for missing payments
  • Attend weekly meetings with the Business Office Manager
  • Track Medicaid authorizations and renewals
  • Maintain resident trust records
  • Support month-end billing and statements
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years in finance, bookkeeping, AR, or admin support (healthcare or senior living preferred)
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with PCC or willingness to learn billing software
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Professional communication with residents, families, and staff
