Job summary

York General is seeking a Credentialed Trainer to support the successful adoption and optimization of the Epic electronic health record system. You will educate and support Admissions, Registration, and Scheduling staff through engaging training programs, hands-on learning experiences, and ongoing end-user support.

This role blends education, technology, collaboration, and problem-solving. Two years of related healthcare or IT experience are required, and Epic Credentialed Trainer credentialing

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in healthcare, health information management, informatics, business, computer science, education, or a related field.
• Ability to complete Epic Credentialed Trainer (CT) credentialing upon hire with a passing score of 85%.
• Strong communication, presentation, customer service, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Epic training programs for Admissions, Registration, and Scheduling staff.
• Coordinate and facilitate classroom training, study halls, personalization labs, and competency assessments.
• Develop and maintain training materials, tip sheets, eLearning modules, and educational resources.
• Manage Epic-related LMS activities, including course assignments and training records.
• Provide ongoing support, answer user questions, and assist with workflow optimization.
• Collaborate with leaders, IS staff, Principal Trainers, and SMEs to ensure effective training and adoption.
• Stay current on Epic updates, enhancements, and workflow changes to keep content accurate.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and build positive working relationships.
