Job Description:

The Business Metrics/Analytics role is responsible for analyzing NPD project resource information into business intelligence to support the strategic objectives of the R&D organization and drive data management excellence. This includes data and technology management such as data acquisition, mining, analysis, data integrity management, metrics generation/management, and reporting.

Demonstrates advanced knowledge of concepts and principles of business metrics and analytical techniques/tools.

Works with and enhances utilization of current software systems to improve Project and Portfolio Management processes.

The ideal candidate combines skills in portfolio, resource management, and forecasting.

Additional Desirable Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Engineering, or related discipline
• One or more years of relevant analytical experience focusing on planning, modeling, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting
• Portfolio Management
• Resource Planning and reporting
• Proven knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, macros, reports, charts, slicers, dashboards)
• Experience with Project and Portfolio Management tools (e.g., PlanView) is a plus
• Power BI experience is highly desired
• Experience with tools used to automate and create/maintain analytical reports and dashboards
• Ability to translate analysis results into actionable recommendations
• Strong skills in organizing, analyzing, and summarizing complex data
• Quick learner of new technologies and ability to test and implement them iteratively
• Ability to drive requests and issues to closure
