Job summary

Alignedge Solutions Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Business Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team and oversee the day-to-day finance, HR, administration and business operations of an Ofsted Outstanding nursery.

The role requires at least 3 days onsite per week with up to 2 days remote, offering flexibility for working parents.

Salary: £30,000-£33,000 FTE per year, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Finance and budgeting experience is required.
• HR and payroll management experience is required.
• Experience with Early Years funding and administration is preferred.
• Knowledge of GDPR, safeguarding and compliance is required.
• Strong operational planning, reporting and business systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day finance, HR, administration and business operations for the nursery.
• Prepare and monitor budgets and bookkeeping processes.
• Oversee HR/payroll and Early Years funding administration.
• Ensure compliance, safeguarding and GDPR adherence.
• Support strategic planning and reporting to the Senior Leadership Team.

You will be part of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the Head Teacher and leading the day-to-day finance, HR, administration and business operations of an Ofsted Outstanding nursery.

Key responsibilities include finance and budgeting, bookkeeping, HR and payroll, Early Years funding, administration and business systems, compliance, safeguarding, GDPR, and operational planning and reporting.

This is a flexible role requiring at least 3 days onsite per week, with the option to work from home for up to 2 days. Working hours can offer flexibility to suit working parents.
