Job summary

TELUS Digital AI Community is seeking contributors to act as a Business Mentor for AI systems. This role involves reviewing AI-generated emails, reports, and strategies to ensure professional tone, accuracy, and business soundness across global projects.

You will guide the AI on best practices in corporate communication and deal with regional etiquette. The position is independent contractor, offering remote work with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance is required.
• Native-level proficiency in your primary language for business communication.
• English proficiency at B1 level to follow global project guidelines.
• 1–2 years of office experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated emails, reports, and strategies for professional tone, politeness, and persuasiveness.
• Check marketing plans or budgets for accuracy and applicability to standard business rules.
• Teach AI how to summarize meetings, draft invoices, and create project timelines.
• Ensure AI follows regional business etiquette and professional standards.

About the Role:

AI models often sound like smart students, but they lack "real-world" business experience. As a Business Logic Specialist, your job is to teach the AI how a real company works. You will review AI-generated business emails, reports, and strategies to make sure they aren't just grammatically correct, but professionally sound. You are the "Business Mentor" for the AI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Professional Tone Review: Check if an AI-generated email to a client sounds professional, polite, and persuasive, rather than robotic or rude.


• Business Fact-Checking: If the AI suggests a marketing plan or a budget, you make sure the math is right and the advice follows standard business rules.


• Process Training: Teach the AI how to handle common office tasks, like summarizing a meeting, drafting an invoice, or creating a project timeline.


• Ethics & Etiquette: Ensure the AI understands "Business Etiquette" for your specific region (e.g., how to address a CEO in Riyadh vs. a Startup Founder in New York).

Qualification path

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance.


• Native Language: Native-level proficiency in your primary language. You need to know how people actually talk in business in your country.


• English Proficiency: B1 (Intermediate) English to follow global project guidelines.


• Experience: 1-2 years of working in an office environment (even as an intern) is a huge plus.

Assessment:

In order to be hired into our community, you'll go through a subject-specific qualification exam that will determine your suitability for the position and complete ID verification.

Payment:

Currently, pay rates for experts range from $10 - $17 USD per hour Our Payment terms are defined for each project.
