Job summary

TELUS Digital AI Community seeks a Specialist in AI Consulting Governance & Strategy to design frameworks for responsible AI and translate regulatory requirements into actionable roadmaps. You will help ensure AI solutions are ethical, transparent, and high-impact.

Work with business, legal, and tech teams to align AI initiatives with ROI, design governance and risk processes, and lead change programs across a global, remote network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in listed fields; MBA/JD preferred.
• Native-language proficiency mandatory to navigate regional legal nuances.
• English proficiency at least B1 (intermediate).
• 2–3 years in management consulting, digital transformation, or governance focusing on emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Roadmap Development: identify high-value AI use cases aligned with business objectives and ROI.
• Governance Framework Design: build governance structures, accountability models, policy guidelines and ethical reviews.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Strategic Roadmap Development: Collaborate with executive stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases and align them with long-term business objectives and ROI targets.
• Governance Framework Design: Build and implement robust AI governance structures, including accountability models (RACI), policy guidelines, and ethical review processes.
• Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Lead cross-functional assessments to ensure alignment with global standards (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR, NIST RMF) and mitigate risks related to bias, privacy, and security.
• Ethical Oversight & Transparency: Develop rubrics for Model Explainability and Fairness, ensuring that AI-driven decisions are traceable, unbiased, and socially responsible.
• Organizational Change & Literacy: Facilitate workshops and training programs to bridge the "AI expertise barrier", fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and ethical AI adoption.

Qualification path

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law (Digital/Tech focus), Management Information Systems, or Ethics/Philosophy. An MBA or JD is highly preferred.
• Native Language: Native-level proficiency in your primary language is mandatory to navigate regional legal nuances and lead local stakeholder engagements.
• English Proficiency: Minimum B1 (Intermediate) level English to collaborate with our global community and interpret international regulatory frameworks.
• Strategy Experience: 2-3 years of experience in management consulting, digital transformation, or corporate governance with a focus on emerging technologies.

Assessment

In order to be hired into our community, you'll go through a subject‑specific qualification exam that will determine your suitability for the position and complete ID verification.

Payment

Currently, pay rates for experts range from $10 - $20 USD per hour. Our Payment terms are defined for each project.
