Job summary

Bank of Sun Prairie in Sun Prairie, WI seeks a meticulous Business Loan Processor to ensure timely processing of commercial loan documents, gather information for closings and bookings, and assist lenders and customers with required documentation.

You will help maintain client relationships by addressing questions about existing loans, process closing packages and fund new loans, and ensure compliance with laws and internal policies.

• Assist in keeping the pipeline updated with details of new and renewing loans.
• Attend weekly meetings with lenders to review loans in process.
• Process payoff requests, paid loans, and payments as needed.
• Serve as an additional point of contact for client inquiries.
• Provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail.
• Complete scanning processes as needed.
• Conduct post-closing reviews.
• Learn the processing of complex credit files, SBA loans, and loan participations.
• Provide input on the Commercial Training Manual and suggest process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Business Loan Processor ensures the timely processing of commercial loan documents, gathering all necessary information prior to loan closings and bookings. This role assists lenders and customers with required documentation, enhancing overall client relationships by addressing questions regarding existing loans.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Processing Business Loan Requests:

• Prepare all closing packages for new loans, modifications, extensions, and renewals.
• Complete funding and booking of recently closed loans.
• Prepare adverse action notices.
• Adhere to compliance laws and regulations.
• Assist in satisfying technical exceptions.

Customer and Lender Service:

• Assist in keeping the pipeline updated with details of new and renewing loans.
• Attend weekly meetings with lenders to review loans in process.
