Responsibilities
We are hiring a Full-Time Business Intelligence SQL Developer 3 at our Central Avenue location in Phoenix, AZ. (Remote to Arizona Residents Only!)
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and reside in Arizona.
- 8 years of experience in T-SQL programming and SQL Server development.
- 4 years of experience with EHR systems like NextGen, McKesson, EPIC, Cerner, etc. (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with structured and unstructured data sources including CSV, Excel, XML, HL7, databases, and data streams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-Time

The Business Intelligence department provides key insights into the Clinical, Operational, and Financial activities of Terros Health through the design, development, and maintenance of metrics, data models, visualizations, and reports.
- Develop complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and SSIS to support application development and data analysis.
- Schedule jobs to automate database activities including backup, monitoring database health, disk space, and backup verification.
- Write ad-hoc SQL queries and scripts to support various reports.
- Maintain data within an Enterprise Data Warehouse to support business processes; create and maintain automated EDI processes using SSIS, HL7, SFTP, and other technologies.
- Lead the development of optimal designs adhering to architectural best practices, considering scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Oversee product performance and implement corrections and enhancements as necessary.
- Ensure all product development follows compliance and security best practices.
- Meet deadlines and work independently or with team members to deliver projects on time.
- Train and support other developers and data analysts as needed.
- Configure reporting products by mapping fields and validating results.
- Contribute to BI knowledge base articles and best practices documentation.
- Provide training and support to end users of BI reports and products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role.
- 4+ years of experience with EHR systems like NextGen, McKesson, EPIC, Cerner, etc. (desired).
- Advanced proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Expertise in structured and unstructured data sources including CSV, Excel, XML, HL7, databases, and data streams.
- Experience with front-end development and design (preferred).
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21+, and meet driving policy requirements.
- Must have or apply for a valid Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance card within 7 days.
- Must pass a TB Test.
