Job summary

MSX International is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. You will collect, analyze, and report on business data to support informed, data-driven decision-making across several customer-facing programs.

You will serve as a critical link between raw data and strategic business action. The BI Analyst will develop dashboards, data models, and reporting tools, translating complex data findings into actionable insights for stakeholders and presenting recommendations

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI is a must.
• Strong SQL knowledge with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Advanced Excel skills including Power Query/Power Pivot and dashboards.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Palantir, or Databricks is a plus.
• Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) is preferred.
• 7+ years BI experience; 3+ years in automotive field, OEM or large dealer group.
• Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will collect, analyze, and report on business data to support informed, data-driven decision-making across several customer-facing programs. The BI Analyst Key Tasks Are

• Gather, clean, and analyze business data including revenue, sales figures, market information, and customer engagement metrics
• Identify patterns and trends in data that signal opportunities for improvement in business practices
• Work with and strengthen the PMO offering to the customer, making every decision a measurable and sustainable decision.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor key business metrics
• Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
• Present reports and recommendations to internal teams and customers through visualizations, charts, written summaries and presentations.
• Monitor market trends to help the organization adapt its products and strategies accordingly

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI is a must
• Full working knowledge of Python, SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, including Power Query & Power Pivot, Advanced Formulas, PivotTables & Interactive and Dashboards Automation (VBA & Macros)
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Palantir or Databricks is an advantage
• Strong understanding of descriptive and predictive analytics
• Excellent communication and data storytelling skills

Required Experience

• Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP)
• Minimum of 7 years of proven BI curriculum
• Minimum of 3 years in automotive field, OEM or large dealer group
• Proven track record of creating and delivering dashboards, will be assessed

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of automotive systems, recall processes, warranty, retail fixed operations and parts

• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with ability to engage diverse audiences
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail in documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to simplify complex technical information
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-driven with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
