Job summary

Treace seeks a BI Manager to lead design, development, and maintenance of reporting tools, dashboards, and data resources that enable data-driven decision-making. You will oversee a team of data analysts, architects, and BI developers and partner with executives to deliver insights.

You will own the master reporting model, ensure data accuracy, and align reporting infrastructure with business strategy while collaborating with cross-functional leaders to translate data into actionable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Systems / Information Technology, Statistics, Economics, or closely related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business analytics, or a similar role, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
• Previous team leadership/management experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of customized BI tools, reports, dashboards, and resources that meet business stakeholder needs.
• Manage and develop a team of data analysts, data architects, and BI developers.
• Oversee the rollout of reports and dashboards to stakeholders across the organization, from executive leadership to field sales teams.
• Provide project management support, including project scoping, prioritization, planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
• Own the systems, processes, and protocols that maintain data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and readiness for analysis.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for TMC’s master reporting model.
• Ensure the data warehouse environment and reporting infrastructure align with overall business strategy and organizational objectives.
• Partner closely with business leaders to identify key performance indicators, evaluate strategic performance, and translate data into meaningful recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Internal Audit, Human Resources, Sales, and executive leadership, to deliver relevant, accurate, and timely information.
• Support the implementation, adoption, training, and change management efforts associated with new BI tools, reports, and resources.
• Establish and maintain appropriate data governance, documentation, and reporting standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, data governance requirements, and applicable industry regulations.

Job Description

TMC is seeking an experienced, strategic, and collaborative Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to lead the design, development, and maintenance of customized reporting tools, dashboards, and data resources that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

This position serves as the subject matter expert for TMC’s master reporting model and is responsible for ensuring that data is accurate, accessible, and ready for analysis. The BI Manager will lead a team of data analysts, data architects, and BI developers while partnering with cross-functional leaders and executive stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that measure business performance and support organizational strategy.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and DAX for extracting, transforming, analyzing, and reporting on large, complex datasets.
• Proficiency in either Python or R for predictive modeling, process automation, and advanced analytics.
• Strong experience with data visualization and dashboarding platforms, including Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and communicate actionable business insights.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing analytics team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Broad understanding of business strategy and the role of data infrastructure in measuring and improving organizational performance.
