Job summary

A leading technology recruitment firm is seeking a database architect with a minimum of 8 years in information architecture and extensive experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases. The candidate will also have strong skills in creating ETL/ELT packages and working with data visualization tools. A Bachelor's degree is required, along with excellent communication skills. Qualifications

• Min 8+ years of experience in information architecture and relational database concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle/Microsoft SQL Server databases in Business Intelligence.
• Min 5 years creating ETL/ELT packages to load data warehouses.
• Min 3 years creating complex reports using SSRS or Crystal Reports.
• Min 3 years working with data visualization tools such as Qlikview, Tableau.
• Experience with distributed data architectures and OLTP/OLAP databases.

Responsibilities

• Work on Financial Services/Banking sector BI projects including all SDLC phases.
• Mentor and collaborate with offshore personnel.
• Utilize Agile methodologies in project management.

Job description

Min 8+ years of experience in information architecture, relational database concepts, relational logical modeling, best practices, and/or physical database design

Hands-on experience working with Oracle/Microsoft SQL Server databases/Hadoop in the context of Business Intelligence

Min 5 years of experience creating ETL/ELT packages (SSIS/Informatica preferred) to load data warehouses and performing other data integration tasks Min 3 years of experience creating complex reports using enterprise reporting tools such as SSRS or Crystal Reports

Min 3 years of experience working with data visualization tools such as Qlikview, Tableau etc.

Experience with distributed data architectures and their eco-systems

Prior experience working with offshore personnel Strong knowledge of OLTP/OLAP databases ,dimensional modeling, and Data warehousing concepts

Experience with all SDLC phases including planning and estimation, requirements analysis, design analysis, development, testing, and deployment Experience with Integration/Business Intelligence projects within the Financial Services/Banking sector desired.

Exposure to Agile methodologies is a plus
