Title: BI ETL Developer III (Multiple Openings)

Location: Maryland Heights, Missouri

Job Summary: Support and manage performance reporting for a sales‑focused business unit. Contribute to Charter’s success by ensuring business needs and goals are realized through analysis and reporting activities. Empower business operations and leaders with concise, high‑quality information to identify and address opportunities and threats. Provide consultation on data interpretation to sales and customer solutions partners and participate in active discussions to understand requirements. Work with IT, Architecture, Business Analysts and Report Developers to achieve business objectives. Design, develop, implement, and support new and existing data integration jobs using Stored Procedures. Apply best practices per development standards. Produce Ad Hoc Reports quickly and thoroughly. Develop documentation for production deployments and ongoing maintenance. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve data quality and performance issues. Communicate complex topics to non‑technical personnel. Provide effort estimates to management. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid‑level developers, fostering continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of experience with SQL query design in large‑scale data warehouse environments, including indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
• 5 years of experience with ETL methodology for data integration, covering extraction, transformation, and loading while ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
• 5 years of experience collecting, analyzing, and verifying data from various sources to deliver actionable insights using Teradata, Redshift, or Excel.
• 5 years of experience in data validation and report testing using SQL.
• 2 years of experience using MicroStrategy (MSTR) to create, modify, and analyze reports.

In lieu of a Master’s degree, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and at least two (2) additional years of experience in each requirement area are eligible. Hybrid arrangement is available.
