Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer in Bellevue, WA to define and build inventory placement success metrics, reducing distance to customers and costs. The Supply Chain Placement team is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer. You will contribute to defining and building inventory placement success metrics, and finding ways to reduce distance to customers by placing the right items in the right Amazon building in order to increase delivery speed and reduce costs. You will chase defects in our systems, leaving no stone un-turned to delight our customers with wider selection. This role will give you a unique view on Amazon systems, process and operations, interacting with planning teams, fulfillment centers and worldwide technical teams. The Supply Chain Placement team strives to fulfill customer orders with maximum speed, quality, cost-efficiency, and minimal carbon impact. We achieve this by strategically positioning inventory in optimal fulfillment centers. Partnering with North American Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT), Transportation, Network Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and Finance teams, we integrate bottom-up and top-down data into analytical network connectivity models. Collaborating with Supply Chain Execution (SCE) and Science partners, we enhance volume allocation across the US inbound fulfillment network, ensuring efficient, sustainable, and high-quality order fulfillment to meet customer demands effectively.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
