Key Strategic Objectives

Amazon seeks an experienced leader to own the vision for quality improvement through global address management programs. As a Business Intelligence Engineer in the Amazon Last Mile Quality team, you will shape the strategy and direction of customer-facing products that are central to the customer experience. As a key member of the last mile leadership team, you will continually raise standards for quality and performance. You will bring innovation, strategic perspective, passion, and the ability to prioritize and execute amidst a fast-moving environment, competitive pressures, and operational initiatives. Collaboration with product and technology teams to create innovative and delightful customer experiences is essential. You must be highly analytical, effective in a matrix organization, and capable of breaking down complex problems to drive product development at Amazon’s speed. You will lead defect reduction efforts through continuous improvement and drive accountability across multiple business units to deliver large-scale, high-impact projects. Leading by example, you will be equally passionate about operational performance and customer experience.

Responsibilities

1. Effectively manage customer expectations and resolve conflicts balancing client and company needs.
2. Develop processes to maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.

4. Utilize excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills to drive results.

7. Support scalable growth by enabling the success of the Operations leadership team.
8. Serve as a role model for Amazon Leadership Principles.
9. Implement and share best practices across operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with tools like Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Quicksight.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, R).
• Experience building and maintaining data artifacts like ETL processes, data models, and queries.
• Knowledge of basic statistical methods (e.g., regression).
• Experience gathering business requirements and creating reports using BI tools.
• Proven ability to generate insights and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of code quality improvement and BI process optimization.
• Experience in data modeling, pipeline design, and automation for reporting systems.
