We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Engineer II to join our Humana Data & Analytics team – BI (Business Intelligence) team. A successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Power BI reports using Microsoft SQL Server to connect actions to data sources to reduce manual processes.

This Business Intelligence Engineer II position requires the ability to work independently, gather and analyze requirements from business partners, and deliver high-quality Business Intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using multiple database sources
2. Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to design effective solutions
3. Optimize and maintain SQL queries for better performance and efficiency
4. Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI and BI tools
5. Document processes, designs, and report configurations

Use Your Skills to Make an Impact

Required Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience in SQL programming
• Willing to work EST business hours
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Power BI or similar tools
• Experience with reporting solutions addressing business or data issues
• Experience working with Medicaid data
• Strong communication skills

Work-At-Home Requirements:

• Internet speed of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload; wired connection preferred
• Satellite or cellular connections require leadership approval
• Home internet reimbursement for residents of CA, IL, MT, SD
• Provision of necessary telephone equipment
• Dedicated, interruption-free workspace to protect PHI/HIPAA data

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools
• Experience integrating multiple data sources

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Pay Range: $66,800 - $91,100/year, based on location and experience. Eligible for bonus incentives.
