Job summary

Amazon Freight is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to leverage data and deliver actionable insights as we scale a new business within Amazon. You will build insights, dashboards, and predictive models to drive performance across freight services, working with SQL, Python, and AWS data tools.

You will partner with product and operations teams to translate data into concrete actions, define metrics, and ensure high data quality while operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup-like

Qualifications

• 3+ years analyzing data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.
• Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab.
• 3+ years of experience using excel for deep dive and provide actionable insight to stakeholders.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
