Job summary

Jobgether is partnering to fill a Business Intelligence Engineer 2, Data Enablement role in the United States. This remote position focuses on building and maintaining data products to support healthcare programs and improve care delivery.

You’ll work with critical datasets, pipelines, and automation across Care Management and value-based operations. The role blends data analysis, engineering, automation, and problem-solving across multiple data sources, serving as a data SME for partner teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Less than 5 years of technical experience in data analysis and/or data engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience with SQL or SAS.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Python or PySpark.
  • At least 1 year of experience using Databricks and building automated data pipelines.
  • Strong ability to assess complex datasets and perform effective root cause analysis.
  • Advanced degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, CS, Engineering preferred.
  • Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, analyze, and integrate data from multiple sources to create reliable, consolidated sources of truth.
  • Maintain and enhance key enterprise data products used by Care Management, Value Based Operations, and other clinical programs.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize automated data pipelines using Databricks, Python, and PySpark.
  • Analyze complex datasets, identify patterns and issues, and conduct root cause analysis to resolve data-related challenges.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for partner teams and help stakeholders understand available data.
  • Develop scalable automation and data solutions to support growth of healthcare programs.
  • Translate data into actionable insights for clinical, operational, financial, and member outcomes.
  • Collaborate with business and technical partners to improve data quality, efficiency, and accessibility.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by aligning data/tech with consumer experiences and business goals.

Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer 2, Data Enablement based in the United States.

This is a remote opportunity to build and maintain data products that support healthcare programs and improve how care is delivered.
You will work with critical datasets, pipelines, and automation supporting Care Management and value-based operations.
Your work will help teams understand clinical, operational, and financial outcomes and make better data-informed decisions.
The role combines data analysis, engineering, automation, and problem-solving across multiple complex data sources.
You will serve as a data subject matter expert for partner teams, helping them understand and effectively use enterprise data.
As the organization expands its programs, you will help create scalable and efficient data solutions that can grow with demand.
This role is ideal for a creative, analytical problem solver who wants to apply technology and data to meaningful healthcare outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Investigate, analyze, and integrate data from multiple sources to create reliable, consolidated sources of truth.

  • Collaborate with business and technical partners to identify opportunities to improve data quality, efficiency, and accessibility.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying ways data and technology can enhance consumer experiences and business outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Less than 5 years of technical experience in data analysis and/or data engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with SQL or SAS.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Python or PySpark.
  • At least 1 year of experience using Databricks and building automated data pipelines.
  • Strong ability to assess complex datasets and perform effective root cause analysis.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with an ability to connect technical data challenges to business needs.
  • Passion for using data and technology to support continuous improvement and better consumer experiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with partner teams and communicate data concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • An advanced degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline is preferred.
  • Experience applying data insights to drive business outcomes and inform decisions is a plus.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; this position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.

  • Base salary range of $66,800–$91,100 USD per year, depending on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and certifications.
